Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Property Verified (“Property Verified”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for your use of https://propertyverified.in and related services (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Property Verified is an online platform that lets users browse, list, buy, rent and sell properties and use AI-powered tools. We act as an intermediary that provides the technology. Unless we say so clearly in writing, we are not a party to any agreement or transaction between users, and we are not a broker, agent, lawyer, financial adviser or valuer.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law.
• You must give accurate, current and complete information when you register and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

If you post a listing or any other content, you confirm that:

• You own the property or are legally authorised to list it, and all details, prices and photos are accurate and not misleading.
• Your content does not infringe anyone’s rights and does not break any law.
• You will remove or update a listing when it is no longer available.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it to operate and promote the Platform. We may remove or refuse any content that breaks these Terms or the law.

We may review information or documents submitted with a listing. A “verified” label means that we completed our own checks on the information provided to us at that time. It is not a guarantee of legal title, ownership, quality, price, availability or the reliability of any person. You should carry out your own due diligence, including independent legal and document checks, before making any property decision or payment.

Our AI tools (including budget analysis, category recommendations, rent analysis and the discussion assistant) provide general information and suggestions generated automatically. They may contain errors or be out of date, and they are not financial, legal, tax or professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on them. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the tools.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent or duplicate listings, or impersonate any person or business.
• Use the Platform for anything unlawful, abusive, harassing or discriminatory.
• Upload malware, or interfere with or attempt to break the security of the Platform.
• Scrape, copy or collect data from the Platform by automated means without our written permission.
• Collect other users’ details for purposes other than the enquiry they relate to.
• Try to access accounts, areas or data you are not authorised to access.

Browsing the Platform is free. If any fee applies to a feature or service, it will be shown clearly before you commit to it. Any payment between users is a matter between those users, and we are not responsible for it unless we tell you otherwise.

The Platform, including its design, software, text, graphics and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may use it only as allowed by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

The Platform may include links to, or depend on, services provided by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that listings, descriptions, prices or information on it are accurate, complete or current. Users are solely responsible for the content they post and for their dealings with other users.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or from any transaction or dispute between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or close your account or remove content at any time if we believe you have broken these Terms or the law, or to protect the Platform and its users. You may stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of competent jurisdiction in India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If you keep using the Platform after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
